iLL MANORS : THE MAKiNG !

1) What does this tell us about Plan B's intentions in making the film?
Plan B's intention of directing this movie was for people to see things from the perspective of others, i.e the youth. he stated that the youth were seen too crucial and 'evil', however he wants the movie to show that there is more to bad people, there may be a story, their upbringing ect - this was what was shown in the movie. Plan B intended to challenge the stereotypes of all those who had been rioting, and present an counter-argument for those who think that bad people are just 'bad' full stop. His idea was to present each character, and gain audience sympathy from them, this is because the audience know that this is what is happening in the real world, and their are characters like that who do exist in the world we live in.

2) What do we learn about the production process for Ill Manors?
The production was Plan B's first movie production. We learn that it was difficult for the director as he wasn't educated in the field to know enough 'technical terms', however, he had a clear vision and this allowed him to stay uncompromising, passionate and determined to make an 'amazing film'.

3) What can you tell about the possible target audience from this short documentary?
The audience is definitely 'the youth'! This is because the movie has shown the youths mainly and the problems that they can face in their lives. The film also appealing to those of he middle age, and those who didn't understand these issues that youth's went through

4) Does the film successfully do what director  Plan B set out to achieve? (Explain your answer with reference to both the film and the making of documentary.)
In my opinion the film certainly does what the director had intended as it leaves the audience feeling incredibly emotional, and some like it, and some don't like it because it was ''too'' emotional and gritty.
